Lisa and I went to see Julie & Julia yesterday. I thought it was good. Maybe I had more than a passing interest in it due to the whole blogging thing, but really I though the part about Julia was the better half of the movie.
Like almost every movie I go to, I needed to pee the whole last hour of the movie. I swear, I was actually in pain during the last 15 minutes. Normally I would have made a mad-dash to the restroom, but the theatre was pretty full and we were smack in the middle of the row and I didn't want to be "one of those people".
Problem with all of this is that about 15 minutes before the movie was over, some lady came rushing in (maybe she had ran to restroom, I don't know because I didn't notice her when she left), but anyway, she walked all the way through the theatre. She was wearing what we speculated must have been wooden dutch clogs because I have never heard so much clomping in my life. Lisa and I started laughing so hard at her that I was certain I was going to pee my pants. Luckily, I didn't.
On another note, check out this article on CNN's website. It told me something I already knew...my pup is smarter than your kid! Well, at least if your kid is 2 and under!
