I thought I had a ghost... okay, either a ghost or an intruder but I liked the idea of a ghost better. I started last Wednesday morning. I went out to get in my car at 6:25 a.m. and when I looked over at the passenger's seat, the seat belt was buckled. Now this was a lot for my brain to handle at that time of the morning, so I tried not to think about it; however, I did keep turning to check my backseat to make sure an ax murderer wasn't there waiting to kill me.
I only reported my suspicions about an intruder or ghost to a couple of people because after all, it does make me seem a little nuts any way you look at it. I was pretty sure that I hadn't buckled it though. I mean, why would I do that? If did do that, then surely I would remember.
I started locking my car door at night because I guess I was wanting to lock out the intruder or ghost.
Well, Jennifer just gave me a call and said that she figured out the curious case of the fastened passenger seat belt... she went to get her inspection sticker this afternoon and when she got in the car, she noticed that her passenger seat belt was buckled. As it so happens, I went to get my inspection sticker last Monday at the exact same place and I guess the buckled it then, but I didn't notice until Wednesday morning.
So, no intruder. No ghost. I feel a lot better about things now.
Abby suggested that I have a weekly post on Sex and the City, so I guess I'm going to do one day a week... maybe SATC Saturday. Ooohhh y'all, I've got a great photo to share for the upcoming SATC Saturday!
It was so nice having a long weekend. I caught up on a lot of sleep, read two books, watched College Football on Saturday, listened to Tech's game on the radio, did a little cleaning, a little laundry, a little crafting and watched 7 episodes of "One Tree Hill". I only have one more disk until I have finished season 1. Tonight is the first night of Fall T.V. premiers, at least on the CW, so that is exciting too.
