Goin' Green

I'm of German ethnicity, but I think my Mom has some Irish in her. I guess that means that I'm Irish by adoption, right? My Mom says that is okay because on St. Patty's Day, everyone claims to be Irish. She says that I need to switch to this green collar so that I don't get pinched. Why on earth would anyone want to pinch someone as cute as me? ~Lola

As you can see, Lola is feeling better and decked out in her shamrock collar. She has managed to eat and drink today without throwing up. There has also been significant squirrel chasing as well.

On another note, Spring is almost here. If my allergies alone weren't enough to let me in on that fact, here is my kitchen window box today...

I'm not a huge St. Patrick's Day celebrator; however, I do always think about Ireland today. It was possibly the most beautiful place I've ever visited and would hop on a plane and go back today if anyone is offering to send me! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

my allergies are in high gear and none of the medicine is working. Makes me so sad because it's so pretty outside!
