I like to plant things and hand watch the flowers bloom. However, in Texas, usually by July, your plants have given up the will to live. Really, in 100+ degree days, how can you blame them? Especially when you are contemplating moving to Alaska or somewhere equally cool in temperatures on a daily basis.
But the thing that just gets me about gardening is the stuff that you just can't explain...
Look at my two Fushias... Side by side. Same light. Same water. Same dirt. One is now dead, while the other one is alive. Why?
