I know many of my friends would attest that I, on occasion, am a bit of a princess. But this tennis shoe situation has be ridiculous...It has truly been a princess and the pea situation!
I reported a while back that I had bought the Nike shoes that my friend Abby had recommended. But then I changed my mind. I decided they weren't exactly right and returned them. I was convinced that there wasn't a pair of shoes that would (a) fit right, (b) feel good, and (c) be aesthetically pleasing to me. I basically gave up looking.
Then today, on the way back from the office, Jennifer stopped at Kohl's to look at their new $5 books for kids (Dr. Seuss books right now in case you're interested). We made a sweep through the store and I found not one, not two, but THREE pairs of shoes that I liked and fit! Of course, I didn't buy all three, but I did get these...

It never even occurred to me to look at Kohl's...
