Legally Blonde's Proceedings

Happy Halloween! This year we are channeling "Memoirs of a Geisha" with Miss Lola's costume She hates every second of the headpiece, but don't worry, she has only had to wear it for about 4 minutes total (spread out over several days). During our photo shoot she wouldn't turn around so I could get a good pic of the back, but here is a pic I snapped with my phone the first time I tried the costume on her. I think it is the cutest thing I've ever seen! She's much happier in just the kimono Also, I wanted to share these cute treat bags I put together (thanks pinterest!)

As always, the house is decked out for Halloween... Lots of Halloween everywhere you turn... Even my bedroom has been Halloween-ified... The "big" decoration is my Halloween tree... daytime vs. nighttime I made a few additions to the tree this year... {1} I added a box of Radko Halloween Shiny-brites; {2}I added a string of orange lights in addition to the  clear  ones that are on the pre-lit tree; and {3} I added the purple mesh ribbon to the tree. Here's a closer look at some of the ornaments I love... I always have some haunted houses around the tree too... The front porch... Now, I just need to go buy some candy for the trick-or-treaters! 

I took some pics of my sweet Lola on the front porch with the pumpkins... There were some kids walking by during our shoot, so she is very serious and focused on protecting the home front. I love it though... that is so her personality. As Hank the Cowdog is head of ranch security, she is definitely head of our house in the suburbs security. A guard-dog in a pink sparkly collar. I also took some in her Halloween costume, but I will share those closer to Halloween (I think it's her best costume yet!)
