Texas Version

...everyone was nestled all snug in their beds, while noises of tornado sirens woke their sleepy heads!

Last night at about 11:20, a noise woke me up... that's right, a tornado siren. I turned on the TV quickly and saw that the weather man was on live. At first I heard him say my county was under a tornado warning and wasn't that concerned, then he said if you live exactly where I do, you should take cover. Of course, I was thinking, great, just freaking great! I just got everything decorated and all the presents purchased and now they are going to blow away in a December tornado! A December Tornado?!?!?!

I ran to the living room and got Lola from her restful sleep in her kennel. This time we didn't hide out in the closet. Since we had electricity (unlike the tornado warning in the spring) and could watch TV, we rode it out in bed (though we were ready in a seconds notice to spring into the my closet). Luckily the storm was moving at like 40 mph, so it was gone in a jiff...as quick as St. Nick (if you will allow me to finish out my theme!).

Oh I love this one...so great. Only in Texas can you have a tornado and snow all on the same week.

It's SATC Saturday Again

First, I will start you off with a little movie... Sex and the City- All the Best Moments from the Movie. WARNING : If you haven't seen the movie, don't watch this.  Oh, and also please rectify this ASAP.  Ann-  they have the movie at your local TJ Maxx for $5.99.  I meant to buy it for you when I was there and bring it to you at Robin's party, but I got distracted by lamps and forgot (sorry!).  This week has been pretty lame-o on the updates front. All I have found is that there are reports of some drama on the set between Kim Cattrall and SJP.  Of course there have been reports in the past that these two gals didn't get along (personally I think it is just because KC is a little too big for her britches and doesn't seem to always remember that SJP is an executive producer and Carrie is, well the star ).  There are also reports that SJP is possibly a little overwhelmed with having the two new twin girls and little James Wilkie to take care of...

A Blogiversary Giveaway!
