It's been a busy Sunday and it's only 2:20!
Mom called this morning and said that she and Dad wanted to bring me the hand-me-down chair today. They got here about 12:30 and we unloaded the chair and had a quick Burger and Onion Rings at Scotty P's. Mom also brought the completed sewing project that I've had my grandmother working on. Here are the pics:

The Chair: I have since cleaned up the leather with some conditioner and it made a world of difference. It is down filled, so the down filled pillows need to be taken out and plumped up. I've always liked this chair and I think it will look great in my living room.
Here's the sewing project that my sweet grandmother did for me...
What are they? Purse bags. What? Purse bags...bags to store my purses in so they don't get dusty when they are not in use. You can think I'm nuts right about here because my grandmother and my Dad do when they asked about these, but they make me happy!
See how they look in my closet:

Then the greatest thing happened. My Dad saw Orange lawnmower (I'm color naming them so you can keep track here) in the garage and said, "I guess I should take that one home so you don't have to store two lawnmowers in your garage." I said, "Well don't take that one, it's the only one I've got right now with 4 wheels!". To which he said, "Oh yeah?". For the record, I did text him an urgent message the other day that said, "The wheel just broke off my (Red) mower!" along with a photo of the broken wheel. I'm not sure if he thought I was kidding or didn't really grasp the seriousness of the breakage. He said, "Do you think that one (Orange mower) will start?". To which I said, "Who knows". So he put some gas in orange mower and miracle of all miracles, it started right up. You know what happened next? He proceeded to mow my entire yard, front & back! Yep, my entire yard and after he was done mowing, he blew everything off with the blower!
Dad is my hero today!
So it has been a very eventful Sunday and I haven't even gotten to the part of the day that I thought was going to be busy! I'm going to head down to Dallas here in a little bit and will, of course, blog all about that later.
