Help! A Holiday is Coming!

Oh, Lordy! I just realized a holiday is coming! Yes, of course I realized this earlier than just now. I mean I did decorate and all. But what I mean is that I just realized a holiday is coming AND that Lola has been sick darn near every single holiday for a while now.

Let's see...

Thanksgiving: at vet for bladder stone diagnosis
Christmas: at vet for huge emergency case of pancreatitis
New Years: she had turned yellow and was back in hospital due to pancreatitis
St. Patrick's Day: surgery for bladder stones 2 days after SPD (does it count). It was my Dad's birthday though.
Easter: I think we were well!!!! Lordy, lordy, we were well on a holiday?
Memorial Day: infected paw

So where does that leave us? Well today is the last day of our second 2 week round of antibiotics. The last time, the paw flared up about 3-4 days after we finished the antibiotics. By my calculations, that means, if it flares up again, then it will be smack dab in the middle of a holiday.

Pray for Lola. Pray for my pocketbook. Fingers & paws crossed!

OH MY! I hope that this holiday will come and go with not one problem. Lola make mommy proud and stay strong!

Europe 2024 {Day 10 ~ Munich, Germany}

On December 22nd, I departed Salzburg train station at 8:00 and arrived in Munich at 9:40.  The station is under construction and a real mess!  I finally made my way out and found it was really raining.  I made my way to a taxi and took it to my hotel.  My hotel room wasn't ready but they kept my bags for me and I headed out.   I have been to Munich a couple of times and wanted to see a couple of things I haven't had a chance to do before.  I planned to to go to the Nazi Documentation Center first since it was raining, but when I looked it up on my phone to double check the hours, I learned they had just closed for renovations.  So rain or not, I was going to have to head out to Nymphemburg Palace.  I took the tram out and then walked to the palace. A Blogiversary Giveaway!
