Fragrant Wednesday

I know that I've mentioned my near fragrance phobia, but today I'm going to talk about a few that I've stopped and smelled recently that I kind of like...

I've wanted to like this for a long time, for obvious reasons, but just couldn't...

But now, Mr. Jacobs has come out with this, and I think I might actually like it...

I'm pretty sure Marc Jacobs has bugged my house, because "Oh, Lola!" is uttered a whole heck of a lot around here!

I also took a whiff of this last time I was at Neimans...

It's hard to see, but it is Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne by Jo Malone.

I kind of like to mix it up and change out fragrances, but I've been stuck in a rut for a while wearing my Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely. Though I'd like to point out not as big a rut as my mom, whose been wearing Calvin Klein's Eternity since 1958. Ok, well, not 1958, but at least since 1990.

Swiss Oatmeal {Copy Cat Recipe}

I'm obsessed with Swiss Oatmeal. I particularly love Corner Bakery's Swiss Oatmeal. If you are not familiar with Swiss Oatmeal, it is a cold oatmeal cereal with fruit and nuts. I've had a similar recipe for years, but it was only similar. It wasn't close enough for my liking. So I finally set out into the land of Pinterest to find a recipe that was a good Copy Cat. I found a few, combined them and came up with what I think is a very close Copy Cat Recipe of Corner Bakery's Swiss Oatmeal. Here's what I do (note, this recipe is really just pictures, because I don't really have measurements for these things. The photos aren't great, but it's easier if I show you what I do)... Here's the Phase 1 ingredients... A Blogiversary Giveaway!
