I'm wrapping up the posts on decorations, etc. with a post on two of my favorite things...Christmas Cards and Wrapping!
If you have been a follower for any length of time, you know that I love Christmas Cards and that I start obsessing over them in July! Actually, this year I was much more subdued. I think because I knew that I wanted to use the Bluebonnet pic of Lola, and I knew I wanted the card to be Navy Blue and Pink. I figured that I could find someone off of Etsy to make me a card, so I didn't stress. Funny how knowing you can find someone to just make your vision takes the stress out of searching and finding just the right one!
I used Cara over at DeanWorks Studios. She had so many wonderful choices that I didn't actually have to do too much "building" of a card. I picked a card I liked, told her that I wanted the colors changed to meet my vision, and then she built a back for the card. She sent me a "rough draft" and I said, "It's perfect!". She was great to work with, reasonably priced, so I highly recommend her for any card needs you may have in the future!

Now for the wrapping. Normally, I find one paper that really speaks to me. This year, I did not. In fact I bought a set of paper and ribbons, only to return them a couple of days later. I found this Santa paper at Hobby Lobby that I ended up using. It was cute enough with the leopard accents. So I started from there.
I added a red shiny paper with a Leopard tulle bow for a second option.
Finally (and probably my favorite), I used a leopard wrap that I already had. I did red bows on it and used these felt tree ornaments that I had purchased for super cheap last year at Target post-Christmas. I think they turned out really cute!
