Legally Blonde's Proceedings

I had been using the same makeup pretty much across the board for some time.  I've ventured out with different colors of lipstick, but stuck to my hard and fast rule of Tom Ford lipstick only.  As I watched the Royal Wedding back in May, a couple of looks stuck out to me.  First, Harry's cousin Kitty Spencer looked fabulous... and one of the others was Amal Clooney... As the information started to trickle in about who wore what designer, etc., there was a commonality between these ladies... they both were wearing Charlotte Tilbury makeup.  I hopped online and did a little research and then headed off to the Charlotte Tilbury counter.  On my first visit, I bought lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow, but I received a sample of the Magic Foundation.  I couldn't believe how much I liked this foundation, and less than a week later, I trekked back to Nordstrom and purchased some. I last blogged about my skincare routine in August 2017 .  I haven't updated since then because I hadn't been tempted to try any new products and was pretty happy with my routine.  But recently, I purchased a few new products, so I wanted to do an update.  As always, I'm no expert, I just like to use great products and I'm always on the hunt for something great. Just to recap, this has been my steady routine for a while... I wipe makeup off my face before I use any products.  I prefer these Walmart brand Equate face wipes .  They are their version of Neutrogena wipes.  They don't irritate my skin, they do a good job of taking off makeup, and don't contain a heavy smell... Next I wash with Renee Rouleau's AHA/BHA Blemish Control Cleanser ... Then I use RR Balancing Skin Tonic Toner .  It's alcohol free, which I really like...
